My Mission

My mission is to start with what students know, and move forward from there. With more than twenty-six years of teaching experience, I am fully equipped with a variety of tools to help me advance students in their knowledge and confidence. My goal is for each student to leave the tutoring session feeling more confident with his/her ability to master the material. I often find that when someone says they are “bad at math”, they have actually just missed some steps along the way. I work with students to fill in these gaps and build a solid foundation.

My goal is to increase academic confidence and progress, while also enhancing each student’s enjoyment of learning.
